I once was witnessing door-to-door in northern Maine and
had this unforgettable experience.
WHAT A
SHOCK!!
As I introduced myself to the lady of the house she put
her hands on her hips and defiantly said,
"I plan to go to hell."
What
a shock!
If only she knew!
"Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was
cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15
The rich man in hell- of Luke 16:24 - cried out "I
am tormented in this flame."
Inside
that lady's house I picked up one of her beautiful
little girls and began to describe how wonderful heaven
will be.
I asked her, "Wouldn't you like to go to heaven
someday?"
She looked at me with a smile, then looked at her
mother, and with a twisted little face she so innocently
declared, "No, I want to go to hell with Mommy."
Conviction hit that mother so hard that she chased me
out of the house with her broom.
The sad fact is that some parents are leading their
precious children to hell with them when they refuse to
choose Jesus who is the only way to eternal life and
heaven.
Jesus invites you:
"Come unto me..."
"The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly.

UPDATE:
God gave us a wonderful revival in Lake Placid with
five coming for salvation, others receiving the
baptism of the Holy Ghost or a refilling, and some
testifying of Divine Healing.

THRILL comes to the evangelist when after the
revival he receives a call from the Pastor saying
the revival is still going on. Pastor Travis Matney
did make that kind of a call to us, reporting that
three more were baptized in the Holy Ghost on Sunday
after the revival meeting closed. Praise the
Lord! |

The burden of our heart is
"Oh,
Lord...Wilt thou not revive us again:
that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Psalm
85:6
How often we have
prayed, "Do it again, Lord!" Well, we are happy to report that HE
IS doing it again, in individuals, and churches that are hungry for more
of God! Revival will
encourage the discouraged pastor and bring new life to a dying church.
Some are ready to give up, feeling no fire in their own souls, and
seeing no stirring in their congregation.
Oh the joy
to see new commitments, to see hands raised, and voices genuinely worshipping, to see weeping at
the altar again, to see the lost coming down that aisle and getting
saved, receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, to see healings and
deliverances in Jesus' name. That is what God wants for His
church.
