FEBRUARY 27- MARCH 2, 2011 - CITRONELLE, ALABAMA - WHATLEY HOLINESS CHURCH - PASTOR GALON CUNNINGHAM
It was our privilege to get acquainted with Brother Galon Cunningham at the Prophecy Conference in Millry and to receive an invitation to minister in his church.
The Spirit of God was with us as we preached at Citronelle. What initially was to be a Sunday night service, turned into continued meetings. The pastor was deeply stirred and saw the hand of God in ordering this revival. He felt the message and ministry was a direct answer to the needs of the church, and a confirmation of all that the pastor had already been preaching. It was exciting to see spiritual response and expression of need for more of God.
We have seen
that the Lord loves the preacher, the pastor, the evangelist, and
often arranges to bring strength and encouragement to him. God is so
faithful, and just on time to reach down with needed answers.
Sometimes the needs in a church are many, and the burdens increase.
Sickness, financial needs, other distresses can effect the spirit of
a church. Then the Lord comes by and sweeps over the place with a
revival spirit bringing new life and vision.
There were great times of praying around the altar in response to the preaching, with new commitments made and many lives effected for eternity. We were glad to have Brother Darius Templeton visit in the meetings with his son Ben. The friendship and fellowship of the church people was a blessing.
Thank you Brother Galon and Sister Kim Cunningham for your beautiful accommodations and provision for us in your home. We appreciated being with you for these days.
