The days of revival are not over! In fact, words cannot adequately express all that God did during these two weeks of revival at Chelsea.
The pastor declared that they have had many good revivals, but never one like this. How thrilling it has been to see the Lord save more souls this second week, and fill more with the Holy Ghost.
As the fire of revival burned in hearts, life changing decisions and dedications were made. Fervent praying and seeking God was seen.
Altar workers increased and greatly helped praying with others. People who had not responded spiritually for years were lifting hands in earnest praying. Spiritual hunger was growing in many.
One young lady who got saved the first week was filled with the Spirit the second week. She brought her mother the next night, and she also got saved. Each night the altars were filled with people earnestly praying.
One man who got saved said he was so glad to finally get something "right" in his life, after so many years of things that were "wrong."
Ren, a young man who got saved the first week, and was pictured in the first report wearing his cowboy hat and standing with Brother Goodwin, was the second person who was both saved and filled with the Spirit during this revival. He was one of several who brought bags of "things" to get rid of. God dealt with him and others about a full surrender and turning from worldly things.
It was an amazing final night of revival that became another mighty demonstration of the Spirit of God working, as conviction drew people to the altar even before preaching ever began. Some were getting saved, some were seeking the Holy Ghost, and only God knows all that was accomplished. There was shouting, dancing, weeping, rejoicing, praying in the Holy Ghost.
This all culminated in a grand public display of true revival...changed lives...during an outdoor burning of worldly things that several people brought in bags. Everyone rejoiced, praised God and sang as many bags went up in flames. Ren, the newly saved and baptized young man was one who stepped forward to testify, "There goes all my worldliness. I give my self completely to the Lord."
To God be the glory! Great things He hath done. May revival fires continue to burn at Chelsea, Oklahoma! You can visit their website at:
