EXCITING NEWS!!
We are happy to
announce updated plans for our missions trip to Kenya, East Africa.
God-willing, we will depart Dallas-Fort Worth International
Airport August 6th for ministry in
two Nairobi Leadership Conferences headed by Rev. Armstrong
Cheggeh, and Rev. Steven Kabachia, and ministry at
Deliverance Church in Langata, as well as several other churches. Our return is scheduled for
August 25th.
Please pray for us,
that the Lord will use us for His glory.
Upon our return we will
continue with our scheduled revivals in West Virginia, Florida,
Virginia, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Kentucky. We have some weeks
open in October, November, and December. Please contact us if
you would like to schedule a meeting or revival.
UPDATE 7-20-2010:
We just
returned on Friday from a week at Truth Camp where we saw the
Lord move with Pentecostal power on almost 300 youth campers.
Brother Steve Taylor was the dynamic and anointed night speaker.
Now it is full-speed-ahead for more preparation for the Africa
trip. Yesterday we got the last of the immunization shots,
and purchased the anti-malaria pills, and Z-pacs. We praise the
Lord for His provision for these needs. He is so faithful!
Brother
Goodwin no longer needs to wear the support boot, and together,
we are anxious to get back "on-the-road" for the Lord.
We will fly on
August 6th, from Dallas to Germany, to Ethiopia, and on
to Kenya in a total of 27 flying hours (one way).
We will be
ministering in two Conferences: the Seasons of
Refreshing Conference -- of the Fountain of Life
Churches under the leadership of Bishop A. K. Cheggeh.
The 2nd conference
is the National leadership conference of the Agape
Fellowship Centers under the leadership of Bishop Dr.
Steve Kabachia.
We will also minister
in the Deliverance Church at Langata, with pastor
Geoffrey Njuguna, and other churches as we are directed.
We are
earnestly asking the Lord for His anointing and power to be
manifested. We feel our need for prayer and will appreciate it
if you will hold us up in your prayers.
UPDATE 7-5-2010:
It was
a happy day on Friday when the therapist said Brother Goodwin
can now walk without his crutches! He only needs the
support boot for awhile longer. He has been driving the
car, and this morning he made breakfast for me! We got the
first of the necessary immunizations for the Kenya trip. We have
yet to purchase the anti-Malaria pills. It has amazed us to see
how expensive they are. The many incidentals for the
preparations for Kenya have kept us praying and trusting God,
and having His assurance that He will meet every need. We give
Him praise and honor for He is our Great and Wonderful Lord!
UPDATE 6-26-2010:
It was a great new report for
Brother Goodwin to be able to walk and put at least some weight
on his foot while wearing a compression boot and still using his
crutches for minimal support...for just another week. Then
"Goodbye Crutches!"... and "Hello!" to some physical therapy. It
is wonderful that he has had no pain, and keeps happy and
victorious each day. We are anxiously looking forward to getting
"back on the road" and into revivals again. The Kenya trip
has filled us with great excitement and anticipation of what the
Lord will do. Please hold us up in prayer!!
UPDATE 6-15-2010:
Thank you for your prayers.
We are happy to report continued healing for Bro. Goodwin's
foot. His surgery repaired a torn tendon, removed a large cyst
that pressed against a nerve, and also included a posterior
tendon tunnel release. His stitches have been removed and
he continues to use crutches to prevent any weight-bearing on
that foot for just a little longer as it completely heals.
SPECIAL STATEMENT:
Since Bro Goodwin has to have
foot surgery to correct several problems in his foot it has been
necessary to cancel or reschedule several of our meetings. As
soon as he has recuperated we plan to be back on the field. We
look forward to the revivals that we have scheduled in August,
September and October and several in the coming year. We
appreciate your prayers that God will give a speedy recovery.
The burden of our heart is
"Oh, Lord...Wilt thou not revive us again:
that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Psalm 85:6
How often
we have prayed, "Do it again, Lord!" Well, we are happy to report
that HE IS doing it again, in individuals, and churches that are hungry
for
more of God!
In Goshen, Indiana we are
experiencing a spontaneous move of the Holy Ghost, night after night.
After the preaching of the Word of God, as the altar call is given,
crowds flock to the front and in just minutes we are hearing and seeing
the sounds and sights of Pentecost..... hands uplifted, exuberant
praising and praying, many speaking in tongues, children and teenagers
dancing in the spirit. revival
Several have received the
baptism of the Holy Spirit in the first few nights of the revival,
including a Mennonite girl. Many stood to acknowledge they had
received a new refilling of the Holy Ghost. We still have several nights
left and we anticipate a continuing move of God.
In another revival God baptized eight with the Holy Ghost, and saved four who came
to the altar seeking the Lord. One lady said, "I am ready now to be
saved." One young man found deliverance from a culture that took
him away from the God He once knew. As he wept at the altar Brother
Goodwin encouraged him to make a complete break with the old life. His
arms and wrists were wrapped with many kinds of cords and symbols, and a
symbolic chain hung
from his neck. It took only a moment for him to respond by loosening those
bonds, removing them all, and placing them on the altar.
We just saw the
man described in the following account, and he is now an ordained
minister on fire for the Lord. He was the man in this
exceptionally exciting event that took place right in the Pastor's living
room. The conversation turned
to his hunger to be filled with the Spirit, and his discouragement that
it hadn't happened yet.
Brother Goodwin said, "Let's pray right now."
and soon that room turned into an upper room experience with the wind of
Pentecost blowing through and baptizing that brother with the Holy
Ghost. It was so great, so glorious, bringing a total change in him and
his testimony
IS THERE A HUNGER
IN YOUR HEART FOR A MOVE OF GOD, FOR REVIVAL, FOR A FRESH STIRRING AND
OUTPOURING OF PENTECOSTAL POWER IN YOUR LIFE, IN YOUR CHURCH, IN
YOUR FAMILY??
It is the will of
God to do it, and He will do it if you earnestly seek the Lord in prayer
and renew your consecration, surrendering everything that could stand in
the way. Don't settle for less that all God has for you!!
REAL REVIVAL IS
NOTHING LESS THAN A REVOLUTION.. a dramatic change in the "status quo",
a departure from the usual ho-hum, dead, dry, ineffective life that many
people today call "Christianity."
Revival will
bring us back to the altar that is missing in many churches today.
Revival will cause your voice to be heard in earnest pleading for a new
touch of heaven on your soul. Revival is the breath of God bringing life
to the dry bone-yard of yesterday's experience. Yes, these bones can
live again.
Revival
will encourage the discouraged pastor and bring new life to
a dying
church. Some are ready to give up, feeling no fire in their
own souls, and seeing no stirring in their congregation.
Oh the joy of seeing hands raised,
and voices
genuinely worshipping, to see weeping at the altar again, to see the lost
coming
down that aisle and getting saved, receiving the Baptism of the Holy
Ghost, to
see healings and deliverances in Jesus' name.
IT IS GOD'S
WILL. YOU CAN HAVE IT.
DO NOT DESPAIR. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! SEARCH YOUR HEART, SURRENDER EVERYTHING
ALL OVER AGAIN, SUBMIT YOURSELF TO GOD, OBEY EVERYTHING YOU KNOW YOU NEED
TO OBEY IN HIS WORD.
RED HOT ANOINTED REVIVAL
PREACHING IS A NEED OF THIS HOUR. RED HOT PENTECOSTAL PRAYING IS WHAT
WILL PRECEDE A MIGHTY MOVE OF GOD.
Revival
is a renewed
conviction
of sin and repentance, followed by an intense desire
to live in obedience
to God.
It is giving up one's will
to God
in deep humility.

GOD
WILLS TO
REVIVE
THE SPIRIT AND HEART OF HUMBLE AND CONTRITE PEOPLE
_______
Isa 57:15
For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth
eternity,
whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the
high and holy place,
with him also that is
of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of
the contrite ones.
Lord, send a revival
And let it start in me.
What we need most
Is the Holy Ghost,
And the Holy Ghost
Is free.
Here's My cup,
Fill it up
As full as it can be.
Lord send a revival
And let it start in me!
Unction.
It's
that
mysteriousness something that God is
pleased to put upon those who will travail
and wait for that anointing.
Without it, preaching has no power
and no authority.
